Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026

Caldrin Construction Inc. uses information submitted through this website to respond to construction inquiries, review applications and trade-partner profiles, operate the site, and protect it from abuse. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

Information submitted to us

The Contact form collects your name, email address and project details. You may also provide a telephone number, project type, location and preferred timeline. The website records submission time, handling status and the request IP address. A Contact inquiry is stored in Drupal and a notification containing the submitted contact and project information is prepared for the business mailbox.

A Careers application collects contact details, area of interest, an introduction and a resume, with optional telephone number and experience. A Trade Partners profile collects company and contact details, services, service area, WSIB and insurance status, and a capabilities description; supporting documents are optional. These forms also record submission time, handling status and request IP address. Resumes and supporting documents are stored as restricted Drupal private files. Notification emails link to those files through permission-controlled routes; they do not attach the files.

Authorized Caldrin personnel and necessary website and email service providers may handle these submissions to review and respond to them. Notifications are relayed through Mailjet to a business mailbox. Caldrin forwards business email to its central Gmail account. Copies may also remain in the original mailbox and, where used, in Thunderbird local storage. The notification emails do not include the Drupal submission ID or recorded IP address.

Website delivery, cookies and analytics

Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare Web Analytics operates separately from optional Google Analytics and is not controlled by the Google Analytics choice. Rejecting Google Analytics does not disable Cloudflare Web Analytics or website delivery and security functions.

If you accept optional Google Analytics 4, a Google tag measures page visits, scrolling, outbound-link and file-download interactions, telephone and email link clicks, and successfully stored Contact inquiries. Link clicks indicate interest, not a completed call or email. Each separately stored valid Contact inquiry may count as one lead, even if its contents match another inquiry; failed, blocked or uncommitted submissions and success-page refreshes do not count as new leads. The website's analytics events do not include form contents or contact details. Page URLs and referrers supplied by the website are stripped of query strings before they are sent to Google; the Google tag may also collect technical information about the browser and visit.

The Google tag loads only after you accept optional analytics. Rejecting does not affect use of the website. You may change your choice with Analytics choices; withdrawal stops further Google tracking after a reload but cannot undo information already transmitted. The choice is remembered in a first-party cookie for up to 180 days. Essential website and security cookies may also be used, and Google Analytics may use its own cookies after acceptance.

The Google Analytics property is configured for two months of event-data retention and 14 months of user-data retention, with the latter reset by new activity. These settings do not describe every aggregate report or other provider's records.

Retention and review

Beginning on this policy's effective date, Caldrin will use a manual retention-review schedule; this is not an automatic deletion feature and does not mean historical records have already been reviewed or deleted. Contact inquiries will be reviewed 24 months after the last meaningful communication. If no communication follows a submission, the submission date starts that period. An active project or applicable retention requirement may justify a documented exception. Careers applications and resumes will be reviewed 12 months after the recruitment decision, subject to documented exceptions. Trade Partners profiles and documents will be reviewed every 24 months and retained while an active relationship or legitimate procurement purpose remains.

The owner will conduct monthly reviews and approve and document deletion and exception decisions. An approved deletion will be reviewed across the corresponding Drupal record and restricted upload, the original business mailbox, Gmail, and any applicable Thunderbird copy. A deletion in one system does not automatically delete copies in another. Notifications do not contain a unique Drupal submission ID, so matching repeated or identical submissions may require additional review before action.

Mailjet processing records, provider logs and historical backups may retain copies under separate arrangements. Copies in those systems may not be removed immediately when a current Drupal or mailbox record is deleted. Caldrin considers those limits when responding to privacy requests.
